Research Interests

I am primarily interested in earthquake physics, seismic hazards, and tectonics. During my summer research project, I looked at three deep earthquakes of the Moro Golf sequence of 2010 and investigated the characteristics of the earthquakes by applying the back-projection technique. The Moro Gulf sequence was incredibly unique, which is why it served as a strong basis for research. The goal of the project was to reveal new insights regarding the mechanism(s) of deep earthquakes, which would assist seismologists in understanding the mystery behind deep earthquakes.

Education

Currently pursuing a B.S. in Geological Sciences with an emphasis in Geophysics from San Diego State University (expected graduation summer 2012)
