Scanned Seismograms
DigitSeis: Digitization Software

The seismograms have been stored in wooden cabinet, and the condition of the seismograms depends on the drawer in which they were kept. The seismograms are, therefore, grouped and processed by drawer. We begin with best-preserved seismograms.

Dates
In general, dates are given mm/dd/yy where mm give the month, dd, the day, and yy the last two digits of the year.
Please note that the dates shown above do not mean we have a complete recording within the time period. Some seismograms have been removed, and other are out of order. These dates are simply
labels on each drawer.

Status
Open space in this field means it is stored at our storage facility, "Being Cleaned" means it is brought over to be cleaned in our lab, "Cleaned" means it has been cleaned and being flattened for scanning, "Being Scanned" means the seismograms are being scanned, "Scanned" means that the traces have been scanned, and "Available" means that the scanned images are available online.

Condition
Because the seismograms were
stored in a wooden drawer, there has been significant damage from moisture and rodents. We have assigned rough rating on the condition of the seismograms ranging from 1 (very poor condition) to 10 (good condition).
