Harvard Seismology Research: Long-Period Background Noise


The figure below shows the background noise level at a given site as a function of time. Each symbol corresponds to a value derived from one month of continuous data. Smaller symbols indicate that less than 240 hours of data were available for a given month.

The file names in the figures are color-coded to indicate which data stream corresponds to which symbol color.
